Since its launch by the China Law Society in 2014, the China-Africa Legal Professional Exchange Project (the Project) has been a great success, and the year of 2019 has seen the Sixth China-Africa Legal Professional Exchange Project. On the afternoon of June 24, 2019, the group from the 6th China-Africa Legal Professional Exchange Project visited Qianhai again.
Accompanied by Wang Wei, deputy director of the Academic Exchange Center at the China Law Society, Wu Lifu, deputy inspector of the Commission of Politics and Law of Shenzhen Municipality, Hao Zhi, deputy secretary general of the Shenzhen Law Society, and Lee Leiming, BCI & BIMC's vice-president of council, the group members of the Project visited Qianhai Exhibition Hall, Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone People's Court and People's Procuratorate of Qianhai & Shekou Pilot Free Trade Zone of Shenzhen.
The last stop of this visit was BCI & BIMC, which is widely known as the Base of Supreme People's Court of China for Discerning Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Foreign Law. Ms. Zheng Fangying, officer of legal consulting department of BCI & BIMC, had a close discussion with the members of the Project. Apart from giving a thorough description of BCI & BIMC's legal ascertainment services concerning African countries and regions, Ms. Zheng also demonstrated BCI & BIMC's achievements in the ascertainment service and the legal map of "Belt and Road" and its future development prospects at length.
