The 2019 Corporate Counsel Festival and Corporate Legal Professionals' Commercial Contribution Summit was successfully held in Beijing on June 15, 2019. This summit was hosted by the Corporate Counsel Alliance (CCA), with AceLaw School, LawInn, BCI & BIMC (formerly known as BCI), King & Wood Mallesons and FangDa Partners being the co-organizers.
The first Corporate Counsel Festival attracted more than 500 legal professionals, including corporate legal counsels, lawyers, and legal science and technology experts from 22 provinces and cities across the country to discuss "the commercial contribution of legal professionals".
BCI & BIMC's executive president of council, Dr. Xiao Jingyi, together with the co-founders of CCA, Ma Qiang, Wang Gang, Hu Jiayan, Wang Jing, presided over the opening ceremony.
In her speech delivered to the participants, Dr. Xiao, on behalf of BCI & BIMC, pointed out that as the base of Supreme People's Court of China for Discerning Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Foreign Law, BCI & BIMC enjoys the authority in foreign law ascertainment services, and it will spare no effort to escort Chinese enterprises in their "going global" phase.
