On the morning of November 9, Luo Dongchuan, Member of the Supreme People's Court Leading Party Members Group and Vice-president of the Supreme People's Court, and others visited BCI & BIMC for investigation, in the company of Long Guangwei, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-president of Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, Bai Quan'an, Chief Judge of the Foreign-related Commercial Tribunal of Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, and Li Fenglin, Head of the office. A work report was presented by BCI & BIMC's staff in charge.
Vice-president Luo Dongchuan inspected BCI & BIMC, heard the report on its work, such as foreign law ascertainment, international commercial mediation, legal think tank, database construction, and watched the online system operation of foreign law ascertainment, international commercial mediation, and legal resource database.
Vice-president Luo Dongchuan fully recognized the work that has been done by BCI & BIMC. He pointed out that BCI & BIMC is an innovative practice which integrates expert resources, establishes a platform for foreign law ascertainment and international commercial mediation, and provides application-oriented services for enterprises, foreign lawyers, and legislative, judicial, and administrative agencies. The work BCI & BIMC has done is groundbreaking and very forward-looking, providing a lively sample for the building of a first-class and rule-based business environment in Shenzhen.
Vice-president Luo Dongchuan pointed out that BCI & BIMC should continue to explore and innovate in foreign law ascertainment and international commercial mediation to find new paths and experiences in legal services. At the same time, it is also important for BCI & BIMC to contribute to advancing rule of law in China by taking advantage of its think tank resources and gathering the wisdom of its experts. Vice-president Luo Dongchuan also greatly recognized BCI & BIMC's achievements in its legal service informationalization and the Legal Map of "Belt and Road". Vice-president Luo Dongchuan believed that BCI & BIMC's construction of its information database and expert database will play a positive role with the strong support of relevant Shenzhen authorities.
